We are hoping the luck of March , the third month of the year, his third month in foster care, will bring his forever family that's at the end of the rainbow. What can we tell you about Mack? A lot actually! We won't be able to fit it all in one post so be sure to inquire if we can answer more questions for you! We took some statements from sweet boy Mack himself, here is what he had to say: Mack here, where should I start? I will say that most importantly, I am a very shy boy. I like to know that people will give me space so I can decide when I am ready for treats, snacks, or some pets. I have been making huge strides towards my more confident self. I have been getting tips from a trainer ‍, I have attended so many adoption events , I have met so many new people and dogs, and I go for walks, car rides , and trips to the beach! I have been having a blast here in WNY. I really love my foster human. When she comes home, my wiggle butt is uncontrollable! I have spent the most time with her and it's like she knows my language. She talks about treats, belly rubs, invites me up on the couch, I know commands like sit and lay down. I know what all of those words mean ‍ and they make my tail wag! Of course my first few days in a home with new people and new furry friends, it will take me a little bit to warm up to be how I am now with my foster human but she too had to work through my decompression. I need a family that is patient. I would prefer if children in the home are over 10 years old. Too much commotion may be out of my comfort zone. It is also recommended that there is another dog in the home. I sure do love my furry friends and I love when I can look to them for guidance. I get really excited to meet new dogs! Not all dogs are as excited to meet me though and I am totally okay with that! I know how to go grab a toy and do my own thing. ‍ I met a cat recently too. He was a bold and spicy kitty. He walked right up to me like maybe we could be friends but when I went to sniff him, he looked at me like he wanted to bop me. I could see it in his eyes so I walked away. We later shared some distant snuggles so don't let him fool you, I'm a good boy and so respectful of other dogs and cats. Bonus points if they want to play with me. Once I am comfortable, I LOVE to romp around and zoom all over with doggo friends. I play in the yard and run around with toys and sticks. Playing outside is so fun for me. I am a nature boy who is always ready to play outside or go for a great adventure. I absolutely love to sit by the window and watch the neighborhood. My fosters favorite thing about me is how curious I am.
