Yeager60 lbsLab mixNeutered maleEstimated 3 years (but likely a little older) This beautiful soul is Yeager, and he just finally took his freedom ride after almost 500 days in an Alabama shelter. You may wonder why he wasn’t chosen for so long, and honestly there is no answer. He’s incredible. Yeager walked into the doors of his foster home and immediately fit in perfectly. Dogs? Kids Crating Personality Stunning looks Yeager is the kindest boy who could not hurt a fly..he’d probably kiss it instead. He’s a dream and his future family is in for the best ride of their lives by adopting this baby. He’s got a youthful demeanor, and is just a really kind boy that’s so fun to be around! Yeager does this thing where he stands up and gives his humans a hug around the neck and just calmly looks into your eyes (in really close proximity ) with so much love. He loves HARD. Yeager is a super easy and polite houseguest, every moment is made better with him around. No joke, this dog is the total package! He loves toys & playing and gets little bursts of happy energy where he likes to zoom around, but for the most part he’s really chill and easy-going. Yeag is a big napper & loves being outside and basking in sunshine. Though he understandably started out a little unsure, Yeager has adapted so well to all the firsts he’s experienced in a home. He wants to trust and is so desperate for a loving bond, and you can just tell that this dog is truly grateful to be where he is. There is no better feeling than to have Yeager nuzzle up to you, with his loving and peaceful vibe. He lives with two little human siblings, ages two & five and is perfect with them. So gentle and intuitively kind; his little nub wags when they’re around. And the same goes for his fur foster siblings. Yeager currently lives with a tiny Chihuahua, a Yorkie and a Puggle and he’s a dream with them! Although, the chihuahua does scare him sometimes. There are zero concerns with their size difference, he’s a friend to all and just the bestest & kindest boy. Sometimes his foster dad makes him uneasy when he moves quickly or is loud and Yeager excuses himself to another room but overall, they’re buddies! They go on walks together and Yeager soaks up the love when foster dad pets him and shows affection. A little patience is all this boy needs sometimes, don’t we all? ‍ Since being in a home is new to him, so is house-training, so this cutie has been wearing a belly band at times to help while he gets the hang of letting us know when nature calls, and it’s been helping! He’s definitely reduced his marking already and loves all the praise he receives when he does his pee-pees outside! We’re so proud of him, he is super smart and understands concepts really quickly, and caught on to his new routine so fast. The crate is Yeager’s safe place, he likes to chill in it sometimes when he wants to be alone..he’s certainly got a lot of rest to catch up on from all those noisy shelter days! He sometimes will even crawl in the crate and put himself to bed for the night. He’s chill, he’s fun, he’s so nice, he’s beautiful…what are you waiting for?! This boy is a catch, to know him is to be obsessed with him. He’s “that” dog.
